Challenge

Camping Taber on the island of Pašman faced the need for reliable and comprehensive WiFi coverage across the entire campsite. Guests in mobile homes, as well as visitors to the restaurant and common areas, expected a stable, high-performance internet connection. Given the specific island location and seasonal peak loads during the summer months, a network solution was needed that could handle a large number of simultaneous users without compromising service quality.

Solution

We designed and implemented a high-capacity WiFi system consisting of 35 access points strategically distributed across the entire campsite. The network infrastructure was divided into three key zones: a mobile home system ensuring stable connectivity in every unit, a restaurant WiFi system adapted for high user density in a confined area, and coverage of the campsite's common zones.

Each access point is connected to the central network backbone via managed switches, enabling centralized management, traffic monitoring, and bandwidth optimization. The system is configured with automatic load balancing to ensure even distribution of users across access points, even during peak demand periods.

Results

Camping Taber now has a professional WiFi system covering all campsite zones — from mobile homes to the restaurant and common areas. The 35-access-point system allows hundreds of guests to access the internet simultaneously without slowdowns. Guests in mobile homes enjoy stable connectivity for streaming and remote work, while the restaurant WiFi ensures fast and reliable access for hospitality visitors. The entire network infrastructure is designed for easy expansion in line with the campsite's future needs.
