Challenge

Lastura needed reliable WiFi coverage for guests and employees, as well as a video surveillance system to ensure the security of the premises. The facility combines hospitality and accommodation services, which means the network infrastructure must support different types of users and devices — from guests' mobile phones to POS systems and security cameras. A particular challenge was ensuring quality signal coverage in outdoor areas, including the terrace and the facility's surroundings.

Solution

We designed a network infrastructure that integrates WiFi coverage and video surveillance on a shared network backbone. For wireless coverage, we used access points adapted to both indoor and outdoor conditions, with a central controller enabling seamless roaming for guests as they move between indoor spaces and outdoor areas.

The video surveillance system was installed at strategic positions — entrance, parking area, reception, and common areas — using IP cameras with night vision and wide-angle recording. All footage is stored on a local network video recorder with sufficient capacity for multi-week retention.

Results

The implemented solution ensured complete WiFi coverage of all indoor and outdoor areas, with a stable signal even during peak loads. Video surveillance provides 24/7 monitoring of all key zones, and the entire system can be managed through a single interface. The facility owners praised the ease of use and reliability of the system, which has significantly contributed to the overall quality of service and the sense of security for guests and staff.
